A United Beginning
Each spent decades in their own marriages, grounded in church life and local service. For fifteen years, they served as colleagues on their church staff, guiding parents and counseling spouses together. Before their own union, they were partners in helping other families flourish through deep spiritual mentorship.
Paths of Sorrow
Pete served as a mentor to Doreen’s children during their youth. In a heartbreaking turn, both lost their partners to cancer in 2011 and 2012. Cheryl, Pete’s first wife, and Greg, Doreen’s first husband, left behind legacies of love before entering their eternal rest.
Restored by Grace
In the wake of grief, the Lord wove their paths together to find emotional restoration. Sharing the profound weight of widowhood, they discovered a second chance at affection by His mercy. Pete and Doreen were united in holy matrimony in April 2014.
A Mission Born from Trial
Entering their new life, they sought the Lord's wisdom regarding their shared future. Recognizing that their unique journey of loss and redemption held a specific significance, they felt a divine nudge toward service. They understood that their experiences were meant to serve as a beacon for others seeking to build a Christ-centered home.
Empowering Homes for Eternity
Combining Pete’s forty-six years of pastoral leadership with Doreen’s thirty years of directing women’s outreach and pregnancy support, they offer a foundation of wisdom. Their journey through hardship and renewal allows them to provide biblical strategies and genuine guidance for couples seeking to align their union with the Creator's specific plan.
Pete and Doreen focus their energy on strengthening the core pillars of the Christian home. Through their signature events and restorative retreats, they provide spouses and church leaders the tools needed to foster enduring bonds. By teaching rhythmic rest and spiritual resilience, they help families establish a godly heritage that impacts their neighbors and future generations with the transformative power of God’s redeeming love.
